Details for DocuCast Nr. 9
The individual abutments are already produced. For every full-arch restoration, we are providing anesthetics set-up or a mockup of the prototype. As soon as this mockup is fitted and has gained the approval of the patient, we dental technicians are challenged to produce the ceramic bridge entirely accurate to dimensions. Because of freely layered ceramics, which need to be layered about 15% bigger, this is nearly impossible. A good solution for this problem is the press-on technology with emax. The mockup or prototype gets scanned.
With the help of the computer, a perfectly fitting digital bridge design is then being generated. A so-called “split data set” is being created for the framework and the veneering. The structure is being milled into zirconium dioxide, and the veneers are ground into the wax. We are producing an incisal-edges key that helps us the place and model the wax facets of the framework. After that, it gets embedded, the ceramics get pressed and painted. Done!
This DocuCast will show you the exact procedure.
