DocuCast Nr 2 – The Heidelberg immediate restoration concept
This entirely new procedure fits the daily surgery reality. So, fewer bones. No „fully guided templates.“ The screwing-in process of the implant until it reaches its final position will feel very familiar. Thanks to digital pre-planning and similar implementation in the articulator, we are achieving better results in the area of immediate prosthetic restoration on the day of the surgery. After that, the permanent long-term temporary, reinforced with metal, is being produced. The first occlusion will be taken from a pre-existing denture but can be optimized, e. g. by shifting of the middle. This bite will be kept during the whole production process.
There is no need for an impression in the recent surgery situs. This way, you are gaining significantly more surgery safety and visibly better results regarding the precision and aesthetics of the immediate temporary on the day of the procedure. It can be integrated without the need for more significant dental efforts in the background. Smaller additions can be made on-site by dentists themselves or by a dental technician. If desired, we will gladly prepare everything for you. Or you can do everything yourself, as shown in the DocuCast.
